Blackpink made its debut in year 4. The group is made by the big company YG Entertainment. Members of this group are Jenny, Lisa, Rosie, and Jisso that they are born 1996, 1997, 1997, and 1995, respectively.
On August 9, Blackpink debuted with Square One single, with Whistle singing their first single on the Korean charts. Their Boombayah song was also their first chart-topping single on the Billboard chart, which even broke the record for the highest-grossing debut music video of the Korean girl-bands.
Successful in attracting many advertisers and sponsors, they received new Artist of the Year awards at several music festivals at the end of the year.
