Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., is a television series created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen for ABC. This series is based on the Marvel Comics organization S.H.I.E.L.D which is a spy agency in the world of superheroes.

This American series is produced by ABC Studios, Marvel Television, and Mutant Enemy Productions and it stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Adrianne Palicki, Henry Simmons, Luke Mitchell, John Hannah, Natalia Cordova-Buckley and Brett Dalton.

The series is developed by Joss Whedon, who is the writer and director of the Avengers and the series was officially picked up in 2013 by ABC. FuseFX is the creator of Visual effects for this series that have been nominated for multiple awards. Each episode has an average of 80 to 150 visual effects. The pilot production took place in Los Angeles.
